MCES Celebrates World Culture Day

World Culture Day

More than a thousand Metcalfe County students celebrated diversity during World Culture Day. Each MCES grade from kindergarten through 5th picked a country to study and learn about its culture, history, language, geography, music, dance, food, etc. The lesson culminated with a parade around the elementary school, to the central office, through the middle school, and out of the high school. World Culture Day is sponsored by Kingsford Manufacturing in Summer Shade.
