A Little About Me:
I live on my family farm with Johnny, my husband, and our two children, Tyler and Kassady. Tyler is currently a senior at WKU pursuing an agriculture degree and Kassady attends Metcalfe County High School. I spend free time working on the farm, watching my children participate in activities, and doing anything outside. My children are active in sports, show dairy cattle, and love outside activities.
I am a proud graduate of Metcalfe County High School and received my Bachelors of Arts degree at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. I later earned my Masters degree at Western Kentucky University in Leaning Disabilities and my Rank 1 in Director of Special Education. I have worked in the Metcalfe County School system since getting my teaching degree.
I also currently coach the Middle School Girls Basketball Team and have done so for the past 10 seasons. Sports are an excellent way to learn and enhance leadership skills, develop the ability to work as a team and an excellent way to stay in shape. I collaborate with the county 4-H agent to work with participants at the middle school level and encourage them to expand their knowledge, leadership, and ability through the program.
