Talk Diesel to Me

On Tuesday, March 17th, 2015, eight MCHS students and twenty-one MCMS students traveled to Somerset, KY to Somerset Community and Technical College (SCC) for a specialized tour focused on Diesel Technology. The students represented multiple grade levels, 8th -12th, and completed an application to attend this trip, funded by the KY AHED grant. Student’s first stop at the main campus was for a general tour of several program areas, including nursing, industrial technology and engineering. Admissions representative, Holly Bowers gave the tour and explained the application process, the many program areas and financial aid.


Metcalfe Band Honored at Board Meeting

Metcalfe County Marching Band members were honored at the latest Metcalfe County Board of Education Meeting.

High School Yearbooks on Sale!

Anyone interested in buying a 2014-2015 yearbook contact Mrs.TJ Coffey at the high school.  Cost of the yearbook is $55.00. 

Senior ads for the yearbook are 1/8 page $35.00, 1/4 page $60.00, 1/2 page $ 100.00, Full page $150.00.  Ads are due by April 3, 2014.



Grading Policy Correction
The grading policy in the student handbook is not correct. The correct percentages of each catagory are:
50 % Tests
20 % Project/Quiz/Research Paper
10 % Homework
20% Final
