Students work on ILPs

Recently Metcalfe County High School students have been working on Individualized Learning Plans(ILP) in the MCHS College and Career center. ILP’s are personalized for each student and cover such areas as careers, colleges, technical schools and goal setting. The ILP assists students in becoming aware of career pathways and what they must do now to achieve those pathways. The  students with the help of Ms. Morgan are navigating their ILPs specifically researching career clusters and specific jobs of interest to them. In this section they can investigate those careers and even watch videos of people in those careers discussing the likes and dislikes of their job. This feature is a great way for students to gain personal knowledge of a career before making the decision to add it as a potential job for their future.
