FREE Athletic Physicals

FREE Athletic Physicals will be given at Metcalfe County High School Gym July 14 from 8-12 PM.  This will be for students entering 6-12 grades.  Coaches, Please make sure your players are aware of the date and times.

MCHS Summer 2016 Learning Schedule

Offerings; Reading Remediation, Credit Recovery, Summer KY STATE FAIR MCHS Reads! 
  8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

June  1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30
(Summer KY STATE FAIR MCHS Reads! program is open to all MCHS students.  It's focus is to get our students to read at least ONE book this summer that is age appropriate for that particular student.  A detailed description and rubric are located on the high school's web page.  We have six pairs of BEATS Wireless head phones ($200 value each) for a drawing for all the students who read an age appropriate book and complete the rubric!  This drawing for all six BEATS headphones will take place July 29.  ALL students who participate in the SUMMER KY STATE FAIR MCHS READS! will go on an all expense paid trip to the KY STATE FAIR in yellow METCALFE SCHOOLS transportation limos!  Please join us for this awesome opportunity!!)


MCHS students can participate in the summer reading challenge.  Students that complete the challenge will earn a ticket to the state fair.  The student gets to choose the books they want to read and then  complete the parts of the challenge they want to do.  For  challenge info. click here.   For MCHS library hours click here.
