Wrap Up and Read

Recently, MCHS National Honor Society students had the opportunity to make fleece blankets for Mrs. Julie Simmons kindergarten classroom. MCHS NHS students also purchased a book for the kindergarteners and read the book to them when Mrs. Simmons' class came to the high school.

APP English Projects
MCHS APP English I students completed various projects after reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. There were numerous project options and some students elected to make models of Miss Havisham's wedding cake. The attached photos depict APP (Advance Placement preparation) students Abbie Walker and Joseph Compton with their cake models. Both students also wrote excellent essays explaining the symbolism in their projects.
