The Metcalfe County Archery Team will compete in the upcoming KY NASP State Tournament on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the KY Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.  Good Luck to all participants and coaches.

Zurmehly Chosen as Classified Employee of the Month

Bendy Robertson Zurmehly has worked in Metcalfe School 15 years.  .  She is now supervising the Community Work Transition Program at MCHS. Mrs. Zurmehly’s  Program provides students’ job shadowing, financial literacy, internships, researching job opportunities,job shadowing, and creating partnerships with businesses in Metcalfe and Barren County.

 


John VanMeter Selected as Certified Staff of the Month

  John Vanmeter has worked as a MCHS science teacher for 27 years and has served as sponsor for the MCHS Student Technology Leadership Program, Chess, FCA, Typing Clubs way back before there was an STLP.  Congratulations, Mr. John VanMeter.John VanMeter Selected As Teacher of the Month


Metcalfe County High School Theater students (Zander Yates, Julie Barlow, Cody Chapman, Brette Eddy, and Mason Edwards) are diligently rehearsing for their upcoming play "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 Minutes)".  The performances are Thursday, March 23 - Saturday, March 25 at 7:00pm CST. Tickets at the door are $8.00 at the door.
